$35,000 Goal

The Aurora Public Schools Foundation is committed to fostering partnerships to develop and leverage resources for projects and programs that drive innovation and excellence for more than 38,000 students, 5,000 teachers and staff, and 63 schools.

Academy Roofing has generously provided a $15,000 matching gift and we have a second $2,500 matching gift from an anonymous donor! That means every dollar you donate between now and Colorado Gives Day will be doubled, up to $17,500. Your contribution will go twice as far in supporting our students, educators, and the community.

Your support on Colorado Gives Day is crucial; a $5 donation can transform into $428 in scholarships, and $100 can provide a teacher with a classroom full of essential school supplies. An investment of any amount will directly impact our students who represent over 130 countries and speak over 160 languages!

Your support helps to fund programs that drive innovation and excellence for the students of Aurora Public Schools, such as the College and Career Centers, CareerTrek, Young AmeriTowne, and the Educator Emporium.

  1. Our College and Career Centers help high school students navigate their future through college visits, career exploration, internships, financial aid nights, scholarship essay writing, and more. Since 2014, these centers have helped students to obtain over $190 million in scholarships!
  2. All APS 8th graders had the opportunity to participate in CareerTrek this year; a program designed for students to explore various career paths through hands-on experiences. CareerTrek broadened students' perspectives on potential future careers and helped them shape their visions for the future.
  3.  In collaboration with Schomp Subaru, 5th-grade students from all APS Elementary schools were able to participate in the Young AmeriTowne program this year; immersing them in a realistic town experience to learn about personal finance and the economy.
  4. In 2021 we launched the Educator Emporium to provide free, brand-new school supplies to all APS educators. Since the Emporium’s opening, over 1,000 educators from all 63 APS schools have been able to gather supplies for their classrooms and students!

Your donation on Colorado Gives Day will help us continue to enrich opportunities for Aurora Public Schools students and support their journey towards a bright future. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of our students and the future of our community.

Thank you for your generosity and for being a part of our relentless commitment to fostering growth and success for every APS student!
