35th Anniversary Celebration
A nonprofit Art Gallery featuring the high-quality artwork of 40 local Colorado artists in a broad selection of artwork. One may enroll in art classes, be a mentee in the mentor program, attend one of our opening receptions, or participate in the Estes Valley Plein Air Show. We are celebrating 38 years of giving back to the arts in Estes Park!
"We came to Estes for a week of hiking in the mountains, but, along with the river walk, this was the "high point" of our time in town. I was especially drawn to the original and high quality fiber art being featured in the current show. I also joined an afternoon Zentangle class led by a lovely and talented instructor. The group of local students were very welcoming." -Kathleen A., TripAdvisor
"Don't miss a chance to visit the gallery, here a collective of local artists showcase the beauty of the Rocky Mountains thru their unique expression and you can find a perfect gift or a lovely souvenir. Your contribution to this non-profit helps funding art programs for the community." -Elizabeth Soriano, Google

To provide a facility that supports and promotes regional artists; to present opportunities for education in the visual arts; and to act as an advocate and partner for community arts development.
The Art Center of Estes Park opened as a non-profit gallery, May 1987. This was the vision of several local artists, many of whom are still participating members of the center. This 501-c-3 organization is dedicated to education and excellence in the visual arts, and is operated through artist and community volunteers, membership, sales, and donations. Approximately 40 participating artists display a wide variety of media and a team of artists and volunteers work together to operate the gallery.
The Art Center has one part-time paid staff - a gallery manager. A large cadre of member artists complete all other center activities. They are involved in hanging a new gallery exhibit once every five to six weeks, jurying new member artists, staffing the gallery, volunteering for special fundraisers or shows and the accounting for the organization is provided a volunteer accountant.
Donations from the membership provide a major portion of the Art Center operating funds. Membership benefits include agency newsletter, advance notice of opening receptions and educational programs, 10% discount on art classes and art purchases throughout the year.
