The Colorado Homeownership Coalition supports sustainable homeownership in Colorado by acting as a financial lifeline for individuals and families who need assistance overcoming a home-threatening, temporary income disruption.
Our Mission: To inspire hope in sustaining homeownership when tragedy strikes.
What We Do:
We provide assistance to homeowners across Colorado who need a helping hand to overcome hardships and sustain homeownership. Our grant-based funding aims to create a temporary bridge to help stabilize a housing situation from home-threatening issues associated with delinquent payments for mortgage, HOA, or property taxes.
Why it Matters:
Home-threatening financial issues happen more often than you might think. Every year, millions of Coloradans experience unexpected, income-disrupting adversities that jeopardize the place they call home.
The prevalence and severity of these issues make our mission more critical and meaningful than ever before.
Our grant recipients’ stories vary, coming from different backgrounds and experiencing a range of hardships, but one thing ties them together — a little assistance from CHC turned roadblocks into stepping stones, providing a fresh start and preserving where they call home
