Students ages 3-21 in the 11-county Denver Metro Area count on CTKD for their school clothing. We currently provide more than 10,000 wardrobes annually (21+ pieces each) and have provided more than 100,000 wardrobes since opening in September 2008. Thank you for your generous support!

"I just returned from a home visit with a single mother who is living with two girls, ages 8 and 10, in transitional housing for homeless families. They had come from shopping at Clothes To Kids that morning, and the girls were so proud of their new clothes that they spent the next hour modeling each outfit from their new wardrobe. Their mother said that she has not seen her girls this happy in a very long time and became tearful as she told me how grateful she was that they had new clothes for school. There may not be a way to measure the far-reaching impact that you have on the children who shop at Clothes To Kids - but individually - each of the children you serve feels cared about by their community. The mission of Clothes To Kids of Denver (CTKD) is to provide new and quality used clothing in a boutique setting to students from low-income or in-crisis families in the Denver Metro Area, free of charge. We envision a community where all students have the clothing they need to feel comfortable, confident and prepared to thrive.
CTKD, which was based on the concept of Clothes To Kids in Pinellas County, Florida, opened September 2, 2008. The four founders of CTKD were inspired by the tremendous impact of the store in Florida and saw an opportunity to create a similar resource to address the high level of need among Denver's students for suitable school clothing. This need has steadily increased in the years since CTKD was founded.
Over the years, the CTKD boutique has been able to relocate to a larger space and hire eleven paid staff (7.5 FTE), which has allowed us to extend its hours of operation and schedule more appointments. CTKD's attractive store-like setting combined with our emphasis on providing shoppers with the best possible quality, selection and customer experience make CTKD the preeminent clothing resource for students in need in the 11-county Denver Metro Area. By creating a welcoming boutique environment where students in need can select clothing, CTKD aims to enhance each shopper's sense of dignity.
