Background Statement
Founded in late 2012, the Foundation was established to support the many organizations who use golf as a tool to develop future generations, not just youth participants and caddies of the sport, but leaders and contributors to society.
The Foundation has three areas of impact to support it's mission.
YOUTH/PLAYER DEVELOPMENT: to benefit programs which focus on the continuum of player development. The Foundation supports programs that develop future generations of golfers - everything from basic introduction to the game through its support of golf in schools to encourage the most dedicated and talented players in elite programs across the State of Colorado.
CADDIE PROGRAMS: The Foundation believes that caddying instills the life skills and quality of character that build self-reliance in young people. The Foundation is achieving this through its support of the Solich Caddie & Leadership Academy, an annual Colorado Caddie Summit and other caddie programs throughout the state.
COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS: The Foundation supports non-profits who wish to introduce golf to those who may not otherwise have a chance to benefit from all this great game has to offer. Through community partnerships we create an environment where kids have fun while developing skills that build self-esteem and reinforce ideals like honesty and fair play.
