The Abraham Connection is Delta County's temporary overnight shelter providing services to men, women and families. The organization is able to provide services for the homeless and hungry in the community, not only relieving immediate personal hardship but also support to increase self-sufficiency

The mission of the Abraham Connection is to offer emergency good and shelter to those in need in Delta County by offering a hand up not a hand out.
Delta Homeless Ministries, Inc. d/b/a The Abraham Connection was founded in 2010 to provide temporary emergency housing and meals for homeless residents of Delta County and the surrounding area. In its first season of operation (Winter/Spring 2010-11) the shelter provided 77 bed nights for 31 guests. The shelter has grown annually since its inception. During the 2018-19 season volunteers provided overnight shelter to 145 men, women and children for a total of 2615 bed nights. Overnight shelter is provided November through April. In addition, case management services are offered year round where guests can receive assistance with housing, disability, and public assistance applications.
