"Estes Valley Crisis Advocates is a solid and thriving non-profit organization. The organization has an exceptional and seasoned leader in its Executive Director and she has hired and oversees a professional and dedicated staff. Both the paid staff and the volunteer advocates have been incredibly responsive to the community's needs over the course of the last few years. In addition to responding to domestic violence calls and unexpected deaths, they have also actively assisted the victims of wildfires and floods. The support provided by the advocates during these community-wide emergencies has been invaluable to those impacted.
The primary challenge currently facing our organization is decreased grant funding. This is due to the fact that several grantors are simply decreasing the amount of funding available to organizations. The Director is addressing this challenge by finding additional and sometimes new grant funding sources. Additionally, in the last year we have seen our individual and business donations grow, and sustaining and increasing these donations is a current goal of the organization. We would like to see a larger percentage of our funding come directly from donors- like you!- so that our dependency on grantors can decrease. Towards that end, we appreciate our connection with Colorado Gives and we thank you for your interest and support.

"Everyone here made me feel safe and cared about. The weekly meetings helped me so much with dealing personally with the DV issues and also empowered me at the same time with the wonderful resources EVCA provided me with"
