For almost six decades, Havern School has dedicated itself to nurturing (K - 8th grade) neurodiverse learners, with a focused approach that includes specialized instruction and integrated therapies in a close-knit environment featuring a 4:1 student-to-staff ratio. Our team of master teachers, occupational therapists, speech/language pathologists, and psychologists collaboratively design daily interventions tailored to each student's unique needs on a day-to-day basis.
As an independent school, we have the flexibility to immediately adapt to individual learning styles without the constraints of traditional 504 plans and IEPs, allowing us to provide real-time, personalized support that encourages students to reach their full potential.
“I don’t know where I’d be without Havern. My family and I like to say that I got my spirit from my time at Havern. It made me believe my differences weren’t something to hide, but something to be brave about , and I carry that with me even today.”
— Havern Alum, Lily McDonald(left, as a Havern student, right, as a Havern Alum in 2024)
"Havern School has been an incredible experience for my child who has grown socially, emotionally, and academically since his attendance there. He is so much more confident in himself and his abilities. Every child deserves a school like Havern!"
— Havern Parent
Havern School creates confident learners by nurturing the potential of students with neurodiverse learning profiles through the use of specialized, small group instruction and integrated therapies.
