Testimonials

Our family was a recipient of the Never Alone Foundation's Zoe's Rainbow Grant to aid in the adoption of our son, T, a 10-year-old boy living at the Nong Khai Home for Boys in Thailand.
We are so happy to share we traveled to Thailand in January and returned home with our son on February 22nd. Words cannot express how much this grant has meant to our family. We simply could not have endured the financial strain a second international adoption would have put on our family without the financial contributions you all have made to our adoption.
Not only, did your gift provide financial stability for our family, but you also helped to provide a loving home and family to the sweetest and kindest little boy! T came to our family after 10 years of neglect in the orphanage system in Thailand. He lived in four different orphanages, was unable to receive necessary care for his Thalassemia, fell behind in school, and was being bullied to steal food for older boys in the orphanage. To say this sweet boy was overjoyed to join our family is an understatement.
Not a day goes by that he doesn’t thank us for being his parents. He is incredibly loving and caring of his little sister and bravely walks through each day. When we first met him he told us he dreams of having a mommy, a daddy, a little sister, a soccer ball, and seeing snow. That sweet boy's dream now has come true!
Thank you for trusting and helping our family. We are forever grateful for your generosity.
Sincerely,
The J. Family

B and I traveled to Taiwan last month for our initial trip. We will be traveling again in the next couple of months (probably May or June) to bring home our son! It has been two years since we started the adoption process, and he and we are very ready for his homecoming day! -- The S. Family

Adoption has been such a blessing to our family.  We brought our son home in 2020 from Taiwan when he was 6 years old.  Despite all he has been through, he is such a joyful, spunky and loving boy and we cannot imagine our lives without him.  In 2022 we decided to begin the adoption process again and in July, 2022, we were matched with our daughter who is in Taiwan.  She is 6 and from the same city as our son.  We hope to have her in our arms by the end of the year.  People often say our children are "lucky" but what they don't realize is that we are the lucky ones to have the honor of raising such amazing people and we are so excited to see how God works in their lives.
As many know, adoptions can carry a big financial burden to complete the process.  Organizations like Never Alone make it possible for families like ours to become families.  Your donations truly change lives and have a bigger impact than you know.  Every child deserves to grow up in a safe, loving home and you help make that happen!  We cannot begin to thank Never Alone enough for helping make it possible to bring our sweet girl home! -- The R. Family

I haven’t had much chance to get pictures done so I don’t have anything with everyone altogether, but I do have some with the siblings that are reunited. And it is so good to see!
You helped to get the girls brother here. We arrived here from Belize on March 1. It has been a whirlwind ever since. Thank you so much for your assistance! I don’t know what I would’ve done without it. -- The F. Family

We've been home now for over a year and I've been reflecting on everything.  The grant from your organization was absolutely critical for us to make it through the process...we ended up being in Ghana for over 2 years, while we only planned on 5-6 months, as we needed to fight through all the challenges that we faced from the US government.  We are so thankful for the grant that we received and appreciate it beyond words, as it specifically helped us with the increased/unplanned legal fees we incurred to respond to the US gov't.
The kids are doing awesome - now 9 and 7 - and we are all continuing to settle into life in the US. -- The Y. Family

V and J were adopted using a grant from The Never Alone Foundation in October 2022 when they were 8 and 6 respectively.  I was able to adopt their biological little brother, who was in the orphanage the whole time, E from Haiti in February 2025. I had to arrange for a private helicopter rescue of E from gang ridden Port-au-Prince to northern Haiti where he was able to be escorted out of the country to Miami.
Thanks again for the grant.  It changed everything for me and helped me to keep these precious boys together!
Many thanks,
Michelle R.

Giving Activity

Mission

The Never Alone Foundation invests in families connected with the international adoption community. Drawing from the foundation's reservoir, we bridge the financial gap to assist parents in bringing orphaned children home. We also offer aid to parents shouldering significant medical expenses as they endeavor to bring their youngsters to full physical health. And finally, Never Alone provides financial assistance allowing families to access the unique post-placement services and support that help children with adoption challenges learn to be born in their parents' hearts.

Background Statement

Alex and Laurel Constantinides built their family through international adoption. They had three amazing daughters, Hannah and Zoe, both of whom were adopted from China, and their blessing from Korea, Lucy. Laurel and Alex were incredible parents who worked tirelessly to answer the unique call of each of their girls. Their family became a beacon for international adoption, and Laurel, especially, lit the way for other adoptive families.

It was after Laurel and Alex welcomed Hannah home that Laurel began applying her degree in social work to serve the adoption community. Laurel quickly became hugely sought after in the agencies with whom she worked. First and foremost an adoptive parent, Laurel's way of doing her work was dynamic and engaging. The families she served were inspired by her love and encouragement, and she had a unique way of empowering parents in their relationships with their children.

If Laurel was the adoptive family's biggest champion, Hannah, Zoe and Lucy were its biggest ambassadors. Each sweet girl touched every person they met with their own unique fingerprint; Hannah with her deeply compassionate care for everyone around her, Zoe with her spark and spunk and Lucy with her grace and absolute joy.

On July 19, 2011, a tragic accident took Laurel, Hannah, Zoe and Lucy away from everyone who loved them. Because of the fingerprints they left on every heart they touched, their deaths came as a significant blow to the local adoption community in Colorado.

Established in their memory, The Never Alone Foundation is a continuation of the Constantinides Family's heartbeat in the adoption community. Serving families who adopt internationally is the most natural expression of loving and honoring this one-of-a-kind woman and her three extraordinary daughters.

Countless families benefited from Laurel's insight, wisdom, friendship and support while they were forming their families by heart. With the foundation's creation, the legacy of support, community and family will continue far into the future by closing long standing gaps for adoptive families in funding, connection and services.
