A gift to Aspen Center for Child Development may be eligible for the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit for Co. taxpayers (50% of the gift)! However, the gift must be dated 12/10/2024 (no other dates in December) or in a prior month to be received by OUR Center by 12/31/24 and therefore eligible for a 2024 tax credit.

We help people move toward self-sufficiency by unifying community resources.
OUR Center, founded in 1986, grew out of the Longmont Ministerial Association. Church leaders realized that those in need were turning to the churches for help that they were not always able to provide. The church and community leaders agreed that uniting community resources would give better help to those who needed it, and also give the community a consistent place to refer folks. Out of this realization grew the Outreach United Resource Center, Inc (dba OUR Center).
OUR Center is truly a community-based agency and works closely with many other service providers in the community to assist those in need, to help them meet basic needs and move to self-reliance. In 2017, OUR Center became a Family Resource Center, providing even more wraparound services to families and individuals in the St. Vrain Valley to aid their self-reliance.
Our services in our Family Resource Center include rent & utility assistance, car repairs, meal & grocery programs, clothing bank & housewares, budget counseling, financial skills, self-sufficiency classes, parenting support, adult education, and much more! We are truly "More Than a Meal"!
Aspen Center for Child Development, a Program of OUR Center, provides high-quality (4 star) early childhood education 5 days/week for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years, with tuition based on household income.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, OUR Center saw 3.5 times the level of need as in typical for our rent and utility assistance program. As resources have dwindled, community needs remain high. This is due to increased population and higher costs, while wages have not kept up with inflation. It's a critical time for community support, and we thank you for your consideration!
