PBS12's mission is to share the real, personal stories of the Colorado experience that celebrate our lifestyles and tackle the issues that define our state.
PBS12 had humble beginnings in a garage in Broomfield, Colorado. Its founders were a coalition of citizens, activists and media organizers who saw an opportunity to broaden discourse in local television by creating a new, more community-oriented, globally conscious station.
Holding true to these ideals as it grew and evolved, the station will celebrate its 45th anniversary in 2025 and remains committed to bringing new content to viewers on all platforms and deepening its community involvement.
PBS12 welcomes all opinions, voices, ideas and choices as it presents a rich source of content that is unique in Colorado.
