Roundup Fellowship is a non-profit organization serving children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1973. We aim to promote dignity in all relationships while helping people with disabilities become as productive and independent as possible.

Roundup Fellowship incorporated as a non-profit in 1973 to serve Denver youth. Its founders didn’t know exactly how they wanted to help, but felt called to serve children who had been overlooked by the community.
Initially, Roundup provided homes for boys with legal and behavioral issues. Soon after, federal initiatives called for the removal of children with disabilities from institutions. New research had shown that family-like homes in neighborhoods should be the standard of care. Roundup responded by converting its existing group homes for boys into homes for all children with disabilities.
Since our humble beginnings in 1973, we have pioneered initiatives in Denver and Colorado Springs to serve and support individuals with IDD. In 1990, Roundup established the first in-home training and family support program in Denver. Today, Roundup continues to assess the needs of people with developmental disabilities in Colorado, designing programs and services that provide clients with additional opportunities to participate in their community. These programs and services profoundly enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities by helping them develop more self sufficiency, and by enabling them to experience the accomplishment and contentedness that living, working, and engaging in one's own community provides.
