Our son Bambam came from second chance in Lamar his foster mom bent over backwards to help us even meeting us half way (we live in Pueblo) . Our Husky had just lost his sister and was despondent and not eating so we needed to find him someone and none of the shelters here or in Springs were helpful. We so appreciate Second Chance. Mission
Second Chance Animal Rescue Foundation strives to be a resource to the rural communities of Southeast Colorado. We accomplish this not only through rescue and adoptions, but in frequently providing emergency veterinary funding and resources to community members. Our conviction is that we should be good stewards of the gifts we receive to maximize the care we can provide to both the people and pets of our rural area.
