Testimonials

"One of the coolest parts about my role as an Independent Living Coach is that I get to meet youth and families where they are at-whether it's at their house or the coffee shop down the street-and provide the support they need."
- Matt Killian, Independent Living Coach

"Each year, I continue to be impressed with the commitment to hurting families in the Denver front range from the loving folks at Shiloh House. Their passion is not only steadfast, it continually increases as they strive to find new opportunities to be a blessing to the local community I am very proud to be a small part of what this great organization is doing and am excited to see what the future holds ."

Mission

Shiloh House offers youth and families support and services to overcome challenges, enhancing their success in the community.

Our Values:

Healing • Empowerment • Collaboration • Integrity • Stewardship • Excellence

Background Statement

Steven and Vicki Ramirez founded Shiloh House in January 1985. The program started with one home, sixteen boys and six staff members. In March of 1987, an on-grounds school was established in Littleton to address the educational needs of youth and provide a greater continuity of care.

Shiloh House continues to provide residential and educational services, and has developed additional programs in the areas of day treatment, outpatient therapy, and community outreach services across Colorado.

In 2012, Shiloh launched the Beyond the Walls program, a community resource network for young adults ages 16-26, in need of support for academic, employment, and independent living goals.

Today, Shiloh House has six campuses throughout the state that span from Centennial to Longmont. Shiloh continues to achieve accreditation through the Council on Accreditation and is a member of the Child Welfare League of America.

Steven and Vicki remain true to their original mission of meeting the needs of youth by providing consistent treatment in a loving, homelike environment. That mission has grown, reaching over 1,400 youth and families in 2021 through Shiloh House's coordinated, continuous, and wrap-around care to youth and families.
