Background Statement

Stout Street Foundation (SSF) had its humble beginnings in 1974 in a small house on Stout Street in Denver, Colorado. Founded by Bradley Lucero Jr., a recovering addict himself, over the years the Foundation has grown exponentially from a handful of the hopeful sharing a house, to more than 100 residents at any given time living in a self-contained, campus-style facility in Commerce City, Colorado. Mr. Lucero has since passed away, but his legacy lives on through SSF.
