No, all costs for the program are covered and made possible by Schlessman Family Foundation.  


Costs for all program deliverables are covered as stated above. If additional funds are available, they will be applied to your Colorado Gives Day campaign (November 1 - December 9, 2025) as a matching grant based on your attendance in virtual courses and embedding the donation form on your nonprofit external website before November 1, 2025. 


Yes. We want to make the content as accessible as possible so there is no in-person aspect. All sessions are recorded and accessible to nonprofit cohort participants. 


Unless otherwsie prohibited, please attend all monthly 90-minute virtual Digital Fundraising webinars led by the Institute for Sustainable Philanthropy in real time to strengthen your nonprofit’s digital fundraising strategy. You will also be expected to participate in weekly virtual exercises + discussion forum(s) to connect with instructors and fellow participants.

In September 2025, the monthly webinars will pause for a 4-week virtual course, allowing you to earn a Fundraising Copywriter Certification. You can move through all of the 4-week Copywriting Course material at your convenience. Attendance + Engagement is tracked for all courses offered. 


We estimate about 5 hours per week for the Digital Fundraising Course webinar content, exercises + forum engagement. 

The September 2025 4-week intensive Certificate in Fundraising Copywriting course will require 5-10 hours per week.

In December 2025 - January 2026 there will be a pause in all Level Up programming to allow for reflection after Colorado Gives Day 2025.   

This is a one-year program, running from June 2025 - June 2026.


You must be enrolled and able to accept donations on ColoradoGives.org to apply for this program. Enroll here.  


There is only 1 main seat available for the Digital Fundraising + Certificate in Fundraising Copywriting virtual courses. This seat should be for your main development or fundraising staff person. Only 1 person is able to become certified in the Fundraising Copywriting 1.0 course. That said, multiple individuals can access the Digital Fundraising course webinars afterwards. All staff can also access Catchafire for free.
