Living Beyond Cancer

Epic Experience came into my life during a period of fear and unknowns for me. The words “you have cancer” shook my world!

I was fortunate enough to attend winter camp several years ago and immediately I was hooked. As campers, we now had a new family who truly understood the impact of navigating a cancer diagnosis. The depth and breadth of love, kindness and friendship was so genuine and I wanted to remain involved.

Since then, I have volunteered at several camps, trying to do my part to provide an experience I had for others. Additionally, I had the opportunity to join the Board and most recently, was asked to be the Board Chair.

It is such an honor to be part of the Epic Experience team. This organization changes lives and our hope is that we will continue to be able to provide special opportunities for any adult to live beyond cancer for years to come!
