Taylor Egan - Colfax Marathon Fundraiser

Seven years ago our joyful co-worker and friend, fell victim to an unthinkable act of domestic violence. Many of us at the office never knew the abuse she suffered at home. After that day, many of us swore to do what we could, so not to let this happen again. Violence Free Colorado came to our office to teach us the signs of domestic violence and ways to intervene, as well as to speak up outside of work by socializing expected norms. Their mission is advancing the well-being of all Coloradans through relationships free from abuse and oppression. They are our benefactor to allocate our raised funds for direct services and educational outreach. One in four women and one in ten men experience intimate partner violence in their lifetime (CDC). 

Friends of Breakthru Beverage Colorado run Denver's Colfax Marathon Relay yearly to raise awareness for co-worker, our cause, and to build stronger teams. This is our fifth year running the Colfax Marathon Relay. We ask for your support.
