Home for the Holidays 2023

We can save more than 200 lives this Holiday Season, together. 

No Kill Colorado (NKC) is again launching its annual “Home for the Holidays” campaign!  Each year we work with Colorado shelters and rescues to get homeless pets home for the holidays.  NKC starts with $5000 from our general fund to kick it off.  We look to compassionate corporate sponsors, donors, fosters, and adopters such as you to increase that number.

Rescues and Shelters from SARA (Shelter and Rescue Alliance) Colorado are participating to save homeless pets this Holiday season!  All organizations participating are Colorado PACFA licensed rescues and shelters.

Home for the Holidays works to support getting these homeless pets into loving homes.  For every pet they get in foster or adopted from Thanksgiving to Christmas, we donate $50 for every animal placed.

Home for the Holidays focuses on pets 3 years or older OR with special needs (medical or behavior rehabilitation).  We are not looking for the impulse puppy or kitten.  These pets we help have a harder time getting adopted or fostered.  

Home for the Holidays achieved getting over 170 pets in a warm loving home last year.  We are targeting 200 this year!  But can you help us get to 300?
