As the Executive Director of Resilience1220, I’ve had the privilege of watching our organization grow, evolve, and make a lasting impact on the lives of young people in our mountain communities. Together, we've built a safe and supportive space where youth ages 12-20 can receive free counseling, attend support groups, and gain the life skills needed to navigate their mental health challenges with resilience.

Why Your Support Matters

In the wake of the pandemic and a tumultuous election year, mental health struggles among youth have escalated, and the need for our services has never been more urgent. Resilience1220’s free counseling services and programs are a lifeline for so many, but we can’t do it alone. Here is how your gift can make a difference. 

- Every $100 provides a free, one-on-one therapy session for a young person who otherwise may not have access to mental health resources.

- Every $300 provides three counseling sessions for a young client's parent or teacher. 

- Every $500 covers an art therapy or other customized group where young people can share their experiences and find strength in community. 

- Every $250 raises awareness about mental health challenges and equipping young people with life skills that help them navigate adversity.

As I transition out of my role as Executive Director, I am deeply committed to making sure Resilience1220 is positioned for long-term success. This campaign is not just about meeting our financial needs for the year; it’s about ensuring that Resilience1220 remains a constant source of support for the youth in our community for years to come.

- Maintain and expand our current services throughout Jefferson, Gilpin, Clear Creek and Park counties.

- Build a sustainable future with a strong foundation we achieve through enhanced community outreach and new partnerships.

- Continue to be a trusted resource for young people and expand their access to our school-based programming.
