2024 Youth Sports Giving Day

Denver City Lax has become a national leader in youth sports by providing year-round programs at 100% NO COST to families. That’s a rarity you just don’t find in today’s monetized sports environment. 

Youth sports participation is in decline because many families – especially those in low-income communities and communities of color – are unable to afford the high cost of youth sports, including lacrosse.  

Research shows that kids who consistently engage in sports enjoy enhanced academic and career achievement; higher self-esteem; better mental, behavioral and physical health outcomes; greater life skill and leadership capacity; and larger earnings later in life.  

Denver City Lax has worked with 1000’s of boys and girls over the past two decades and our participation continues to climb each year. We are grateful for the community's help to meet the demand by new girls and boys seeking the opportunity to play, as well as supporting our year-round lacrosse, education, and enrichment programs for current participants.
