Join us a for an exclusive event celebrating love and friendship with live mariachi performance! Funds raised will help fund CYMP teaching staff and support our mission to inspire youth in the art of music making and mariachi culture.

CYMP Teaching Staff: 

CYMP has a small team of talented music artist with exemptional backgrounds in mariachi music. Many of whom have already donated hours of privet lessons, coaching sessions and classroom time. They work to engage with CYMP students and love to share their talent and skill with all students from beginners to advance. CYMP has currently reached their student capacity and are in need to expand its teaching staff. Please help us fund the amazing people who inspire our students everyday. 

Mariachi Corazon de Oro:

Mariachi Corazón de Oro is the advance class of the Colorado Youth Mariachi Program (CYMP). It is a performance group made up of students and young adults who have auditioned and demonstrated their passion for mariachi music and its culture through hard work and perseverance. Students range between the ages of 12 and 18 years old, they represent CYMP and serve as role models for other students in the program. Mariachi Corazon de Oro was first formed in January 2018, a year and half after the founding of the CYMP. In this time, Mariachi Corazón de Oro has performed at various events and venues including statewide conferences and venues such as the Levitt Pavilion and the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. The group is currently directed by Matthew Martinez, a local mariachi expert and director of Denver's Mariachi Los Mensajeros and Victor Becerra, co-founder and trumpet teacher of CYMP.
