At True North Polaris House, our mission is to empower young adults in Boulder County to transition from surviving to thriving, becoming self-sufficient individuals and positive contributors to their community.
For over 20 years, Polaris House has been a beacon of hope for young adults aging out of foster care, providing a safe and supportive home as they step into independence. From our roots as a group home to our evolution as True North Polaris House, we’ve helped hundreds of young adults find stability, develop life skills, and build the confidence needed to succeed on their own.
We provide transitional housing and resources for young adults who have experienced foster care or homelessness, offering a structured environment where they can set and achieve their goals, break unhealthy family cycles, and create new narratives for their lives.
Through personalized support, life skills training, and financial readiness programs, we equip residents with the tools they need for long-term success. At the same time, we rally the community to provide opportunities, mentorship, and resources to help these young adults flourish.
We envision a world where every young adult leaving foster care has the skills, stability, and support system needed to confidently navigate adulthood. Together, we are building a stronger, brighter future for Boulder County’s youth.
