I love working at the Alliance for Suicide Prevention because it allows me to be an advocate for mental health while emphasizing the importance of connection—both within our team and the community. Having lost a loved one to suicide, I’ve found incredible meaning and healing in supporting those who are grieving and working on prevention efforts.

Being part of a team that is so passionate about the community's well-being and genuinely cares for one another has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. It’s deeply rewarding to work alongside such dedicated individuals while building partnerships in the community that strengthen our mission. Together, we’re working toward a future where we can live in a community with zero suicides.

The Alliance for Suicide Prevention of Larimer County is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those impacted by suicide. In our community, a suicide happens every 5-6 days, and it remains a leading cause of death among youth. However, there is hope—the suicide rate in Larimer County has consistently decreased since 2020, and we are the only county in Colorado to achieve this!
