We'd like to introduce you to a horse who could use a friend ...

Meet Dixie, a 28-year-old Arabian mare with a heart of gold and a lifetime of stories to tell. This gentle senior horse has lived a long and fulfilling life, but now she finds herself in need of a new home where she can spend her golden years surrounded by love and care.

Dixie has spent the past 25 years living alongside her mother and 4 siblings here in Colorado. Unfortunately, she is the last remaining member of her family and she's become quite lonely. 

HOWEVER, here at the ResqRanch, we've got another beautiful senior horse by the name of Sugar who would love the chance to spend time with a horse that's living life at her same speed (and maybe a little less time keeping up with the new mustang yearlings who are just a few gears faster than her these days : )
