Invest in Our Future! Support LPS Students 2024

Hello! My name is Jessica Ceriani, and I am the proud mom of two LPS students, the wife of an LPS administrator, a Littleton Public Schools Foundation (LPSF) board member, and a local business owner. One of my favorite things about Littleton is the sense of community. I especially appreciate how the community supports its students. 

I appreciate how LPS fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment. They recognize the different needs and learning styles of our students and work to find solutions that support and engage all students. I believe strongly that we need to create lifelong learners and the LPS staff and community embrace this goal.

This summer my family was fortunate to travel to Cuba – a bucket list item for me. The picture shows us in front of the sign for a small town outside of Havana, Cuba where my grandmother spent her early childhood. I enjoyed watching my children practice their Spanish – my son commenting on how he should have worked harder in Spanish class. Both my children were eager to learn about the people, the culture, and understand their history. The young people we met valued education, understanding the world, and almost all of them longed to come to the United States. This brought to light just how much we take for granted.

The trip reminded me of how fortunate we are to have the resources and support within our community to prepare our students for meaningful opportunities after high school, while recognizing that each student’s path will differ. LPSF is crucial to the community, raising funds to support LPS students and staff. LPSF bridges the gap between school budgets and student needs, BUT they can't do it without our support!

Benjamin Franklin had it right when he said, “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.” I support LPSF because I believe in our children and recognize that they are our future. Every child deserves the resources and support to guide them on their unique path to success. Join me in supporting this amazing group and donate what you can today!
