Can you help support asylum seekers while they live temporarily in hosts' homes in Arvada? We are a team of volunteers dedicated to helping guests settle here and prepare for independence during the months they await their work permit. That work permit will change their lives!
Asylum seekers are motivated, industrious and grateful for the opportunity to build a new life in our community. Besides food, clothing and medical expenses, funds you donate will go toward such things as ESL classes, using the RTD system, engaging in sports and social activities that help acclimate them to America. There are many expenses our guests incur as they await their work permit.
Your contribution goes to The Colorado Hosting Asylum Network (CHAN) and is tax-deductible.
CHAN has helped 60 families achieve asylum since the Front Range became an attractive destination for those seeking a better life.
