Cool Kids Fundraiser

Imagine being a single parent, striving to provide everything your children need for the school year. The excitement of a new school year can be overshadowed by the stress of affording new clothes. Also, imagine being a child starting school and seeing other kids with new clothes while you wear outgrown and worn-out outfits. 

Cool Kids at Project Self-Sufficiency steps in, providing much-needed relief and support.

Our Cool Kids Fund provides Pre-K through 12th-grade children in single-parent families with $150 gift cards (and $50 gift cards for our younger children) to purchase new clothes for school! Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of donors like you, we supported 116 children, helping them start the school year with confidence and pride.

This year with our Cool Kids fund, we aim to reach even more children.

Cool Kids will ensure children have the clothing they need to feel confident and ready to learn. Your donation to Cool Kids will directly fund these gift cards, providing tangible support that makes a real difference in their success in school. By contributing to Cool Kids, you're not just giving a gift card; you're providing a sense of normalcy, dignity, and personal style to children who deserve the best start to their school year. In order to meet the needs of our families for the upcoming school year, we would appreciate your response by July 30.

All donations received through the end of the year totaling $250 and over may be eligible for a 25% Enterprise Zone Tax Credit. For more information, visit the Donate page of our website.
