The Northern Colorado Wildlife Center is a small, but mighty, wildlife rehabilitation center thay serves the Northern Colorado area.

NCWC takes in injured animals, orphaned wildlife, and sick critters and does what they can to heal them and release them back into the wild where they belong. They are experts at taking abandoned neonate animals and raising them into healthy wild animals.

In addition their rehab work, NCWC also serves as an educational center for the community. They go to festivals, fairs, classrooms, lecture halls, and so much more to teach everyone about wildlife and how to live side by side our wild neighbors.

And on top of that, they also rescue animals in the field. Untangling birds caught in fishing line, catching a scared orphaned animal from the side of the road, removing a turtle that has been hit by a car. The Northern Colorado Wildlife Center can do it all!

This year, they have already helped over 2400 animals, which is over double how many were rescued last year.

oh, and did I mention it's nearly completely volunteer ran? There is only 4 full time staff members that work together to coordinate seasonal staff, interns, and a small army of dedicated volunteers.

I hope you will be willing to donate to such an amazing organization that is being ran by dedicated people that are passionate about helping wildlife!
