Casting for Recovery provides free fly fishing retreats for women with a breast cancer diagnosis. I have been volunteering with Casting for Recovery for three years. When out on the river in their fishing day, the participants enjoy being outdoors, being in the moment on the river, with the excitement of catching and releasing fish. They also benefit from peer support. Please join me in supporting the Colorado Casting for Recovery program. It takes about $1000 to cover the cost of the retreat for one participant. The program is run by volunteers and is completely supported through donations.
