YWCA’s mission is to eliminate racism, empower women and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. As an inclusive, secular nonprofit organization, we are publicly funded, not affiliated with any religious group, and welcome people of all backgrounds and genders to participate in our important work. YWCA Boulder County is a federated organization with sister YWCAs across the United States and the world.
Funds donated to YWCA Boulder County support our work to creating effective, lasting change by breaking down barriers so all women and girls can thrive.
YWCA Boulder County maintains a focus on Racial Justice, Economic Empowerment, and Health and Safety for Women and Girls.
We make an impact by leading Advocacy efforts to help create a safer, more equitable and welcoming space for all women, families and those experiencing discrimination to live, work and thrive. We make an impact by providing Direct Services to the community that make us a hub of inclusivity. We make an impact by Raising Awareness of racism and discrimination to energize community members and leaders, and engage them in creating a community of equity, opportunity, and empowerment for all.
YWCA Boulder County programs include:
