Curious Theatre Company's mission is to engage the community in important contemporary issues through provocative modern theater. We are fiercely committed to diversity, equity and inclusion—on stage and off!

Outstanding works that address the most pressing issues of our time have been seen for the first time in Colorado at Curious' historic theatre in Denver's Golden Triangle: The Dead Guy, by Eric Cobel, Tarell Alvin McCraney's trilogy that was first staged years before he won an Academy Award for Moonlight, and the world premiere of The War Anthology, the first theater collaboration to feature three Pulitzer Prize winners (Suzan Lori Parks, Paula Vogel, and Kushner), to name just a few. 

Curious' ambition has always been big - with 21 world premieres, 13 National New Play Network Rolling World Premieres, and 82 regional premieres to show for it  - and nurturing the hopes and dreams of young artists who would not otherwise benefit from the critical mentorship and support that Curious provides.
