At Front Range Community College, every student has a story, and many of these stories highlight the resilience, potential, and dream of a better future. Our students come to us with unique backgrounds and ambitions, and sometimes, the barriers they face—financial, personal, or academic—can feel overwhelming. That’s where our support, especially through resources like the high-needs emergency funding and our WOLF Pantries that provide food and scholarships, becomes a turning point.

Take Maria, for example. A single mother and first-generation college student, Maria balanced two part-time jobs to support her children while pursuing her associate degree in nursing. Every day was a careful balance of childcare, work, and studying, often leaving her with little to no time to rest. When an unexpected medical bill set her back financially, Maria considered dropping out to keep up with expenses. However, through our high-needs fund and access to our on-campus food pantry, she could stay in school and ensure her family had the essentials. Maria is completing her degree, and her healthcare career dreams are finally within reach!

Maria’s story is just one of many where a small amount of support makes an incredible difference. When we invest in students like her, we invest in stronger communities and a brighter future for everyone.
