Bucket List Community Cafe

Bucket List Community Cafe is free hyperlocal neighborly news for the Denver area powered by university students and recent graduates.  It is trustworthy, solution oriented online journalism representing all voices and helping people see themselves in the news.   Bucket List Community Cafe believes community journalism should be inspired and supported by the community it serves and we partner with the community to do it.  

Bucket List Community Cafe has a unique niche at the intersection of journalism and community.  We build community by sharing our stories. We partner with the community to innovate local journalism, and listen to people to best serve diverse neighborhoods.  We mentor the next generation of aspiring journalists and journalism entrepreneurs through internships and apprenticeships.  We aspire to replicate our apprenticeship approach.

COLab is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working with newsrooms like ours across the state to strengthen local public-service journalism.
