DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT! In honor of Colroado Gives Day, the Cresap Family Foundation is matching 100% of donations towards the SGR 2024 Capital Project Wish List up to $5,000.

The capital campaign fund supports projects to expand programs and services. These include:

1. Trailer

Purchase of an additional second-hand trailer to transport animals during SGR programs, events, and during medical or weather emergencies. An  additional secondhand horse trailer (and a secondhand ranch truck) will allow us to transport more animals at once, allowing us to better serve our community and respond more quickly in potential emergency situations.

2. Bunny Hutches

Construction of new bunny hutches. These larger custom-designed hutches with attached runs will house our four therapy rabbits year-round at our new facility and provide a safe space for participants of all ages and abilities to interact with them.

3. Goat Houses

Purchase two second-hand insulated animal houses. These will provide year-round shelter for our four therapy goats, giving them a warm, dry space to continue enjoying their private outdoor paddock over the winter.

In 2024, SGR relocated to a larger facility, launched satellite programming in Carbondale with planned expansion throughout the Roaring Fork Valley, and hired additional staff to create a "mobile team" and serve more participants. Funding of these capital projects will allow us to better support our herd of therapy animals and our current participants as well as support the future growth of our herd and program!
