Black and brown people who go into cardiac arrest are 26% less likely to receive CPR at home, and 33% less likely to receive CPR assistance in public! The Community Health Initiative Project aims to change this by providing training to black and brown communities around Denver.
Trainings will introduce residents from communities of color throughout the metro Denver area, the importance, process and procedures of performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation a.k.a. CPR so that participants will be in a position to one day save a life(s).
A certified medical practitioner conducts all trainings and a certification card can be provided to participants.
Please consider supporting bringing CPR training to neighborhoods that need it the most. Trainings are available to high school-aged children and adults.
