My Fundraiser

I have long admired the work of the ACLU.  The ACLU’s mission is to protect our civil rights, including students’ rights, women’s rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and privacy rights.

I have recently been asked to serve on the ACLU Colorado Board of Directors. I am humbled and honored by this opportunity. My work on the Board will enable me to passionately advocate for public education and equity and inclusion for all Coloradans. As you recall, ACLU Colorado helped stop the Douglas County School District from enacting a voucher program that would have given public school tax dollars to private schools.

The ACLU continues to fight to keep tax dollars in public schools. In fact, they are one of the strongest voices in this fight today.  To keep their voice strong, I am hoping you will join me in supporting their efforts.
