Blink! Our lives look quite different than they did in 2008. Nearly 18 years ago, we were introduced - reluctantly - to Anchor Center for Blind Children. Claire was 11 weeks old when we first walked inside Anchor Center's front doors. We were fragile in the parenting department, navigating our way with a newborn visually impaired child. We had no idea how profound of an impact this organization would have on her life - and ours.
Fast forward to her senior year in high school, and we still celebrate the early intervention Claire received at Anchor Center. Claire is now a confident teenager who embraces life to the fullest. She swims, volunteers, works and is applying to colleges.
We are incredibly grateful for the special teachers and staff at Anchor Center. Their multidisciplinary program positively influences a child's early development. Please join us and support this wonderful organization that brings knowledge, connections, community and HOPE to many children and families impacted by visual impairment.
