This fund will live on as Joan wished along with Colorado Cats in Need with the same purpose and compassion Joan embodied in her life.

Colorado Cats in Need raises funds to pay for the spay and neutering of pet cats in need. The reason that most people don’t fix their cats is because they are unable to afford it. The money raised may also be used for medical needs in the future, but the focus right now is on getting pet cats fixed. We will identify potential people specifically through the Colorado Cats in Need Facebook page that would qualify for CCIN to set up and pay for the procedures. To do this, we need the money to pay for everything, so please help as you are able.

Colorado Cats in Need is a group dedicated to the safe networking of cats, specifically in Colorado, that are in need of any kind of help.  This could include cats in need of rehoming, spay/neuter, medical care, food or other assistance or resources.

The group also supports rescues and shelters and other nonprofit cat-related organizations by posting cats up for adoption, events benefiting cats, and requests for donations of cat food, supplies and/or money for their organizations.

Additionally, the group is a resource for those in need of TNR help in their area.

All your funds go directly to care for cats in Colorado.  No Kill Colorado pays the admin fees for this fund.  No Kill Colorado and Colorado Cats in Need have no employees and are all volunteers!
