Summary
I have been involved with Littleton Public Schools since my kids, Mike and Leslie, started at Highland Elementary School. Between volunteering for school parties and projects, serving on various school and district committees, and working with district administrators and teachers, I have come to understand the great job that LPS does to work with all kids and provide them with a world-class education.
Karen started her career in LPS teaching at Euclid Junior High (now Middle School) and moved to Heritage High School, where she worked in and led the Business/Career and Technical Education Department until her retirement.
After eight years on the LPS School Board, I was asked to continue my service by joining the LPS Foundation Board. Although I am no longer a member of the Foundation Board, I am still involved in the district. It is great to work with people from the district, making a difference for all LPS students.
Please join me in this Colorado Gives Day Campaign to provide resources for all the kids in LPS.
We are in the tenth year of the scholarship drive and have more than doubled our contributions. In the last nine years, we have impacted the college experiences of 36 young people. Help us continue to help these young people achieve their educational goals. The photo above shows the 2024 scholarship recipients.
Together, we can make a difference! Thank you, in advance, for your help.
