Centennial State Ballet is your nonprofit youth ballet company, serving performers and students in Kindergarten through Senior Year of high school (or the equivalent) across Colorado’s Front Range.

Our Mission

is to engage, enrich, and inspire the human spirit through artistically exceptional youth ballet education, performance, and community engagement

Our Vision

is to bring the beauty of classical ballet to the community through expressive performance. Instilling a lifelong love for ballet, we aim to nurture exceptional dancers who are resilient, confident individuals by promoting creativity, discipline, and a strong sense of community. With that sense of community, we strive to give back to all who would benefit. CSB’s four programs; School, Performance, Community Engagement, and Company Member Enrichment contribute to cultural richness and vitality for all.

5 Reasons to Donate to the Scholarship Fund

  • Access and Opportunity: Many talented young dancers may not have the financial means to afford ballet training. Donating to a scholarship fund ensures that these children and teenagers have access to high-quality dance education and training opportunities they might not otherwise be able to afford. This democratizes access to the arts and allows deserving students to pursue their passion for ballet.

  • Supporting Talent: By contributing to a scholarship fund, you are directly supporting the development of talented young dancers. These funds help identify and nurture potential future professionals in the ballet world, regardless of their financial background. Your donation can make a significant difference in helping a promising young dancer achieve their dreams and reach their full potential.

  • Promoting Diversity and Inclusion: Scholarships can help increase diversity and promote inclusion within the ballet community. They enable dancers from various socioeconomic backgrounds, ethnicities, and communities to participate in ballet training and performances. This not only enriches the cultural fabric of ballet but also promotes equity and representation within the arts.

  • Impact on Personal Growth: Ballet training fosters discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and self-confidence. By supporting scholarships, you are investing in the personal growth and development of young dancers. These skills are not only valuable for a career in dance but also benefit individuals in their academic and professional pursuits.

  • Long-Term Impact on the Arts: Your donation to the CSB scholarship fund contributes to the sustainability and growth of the arts. By helping talented young dancers receive training and education, you are ensuring the future of ballet and the broader performing arts. These dancers may go on to become professional performers, educators, choreographers, or advocates for the arts, thereby perpetuating a cycle of artistic excellence and cultural enrichment.
