I joined Colorado Women's Education Foundation back in August. I have become truly inspired by this organization’s mission and values, as they have been dedicated to empowering women for the last 48 years. I have witnessed firsthand how committed this organization is to not only providing scholarships to women to transform their lives through education, but also by providing the additional support needed to help these women to succeed and persevere. CWEF truly cares about each and every scholar that they support.
CWEF is one of the few organizations in Colorado dedicated to empowering female students of non-traditional age through scholarships and support services. These women, often over the age of 25 and facing significant financial challenges, are pursuing education to break the cycle of poverty and achieve economic self-sufficiency.
