Telluride Arts Annual Fund

Celebrating 50+ years as Telluride's local arts council, Telluride Arts continues to enrich the community and vitalize the region, by advancing the appreciation and participation in the arts.

The Annual Fund plays a vital role in the fulfillment of Telluride Arts mission, by sustaining operations and program initiatives, further vitalizing the community through the arts.

Our Impact

Telluride Arts has grown from a grassroots initiative to a cornerstone of the community, supporting the creative sector Holiday Bazaar Vendor, Katie Terrell Ramos, Owner of Mesa Verde Lavenderthrough three primary pillars:

  1. Supporting Local and Regional Artists: Providing essential resources for artists to create, thrive, and expand their reach. From grants and collaborative partnerships to paid performances, exhibitions, and arts bazaars, Telluride Arts offers opportunities that empower artists; ensuring their work is seen, heard, and valued. To-date in 2024, we've paid over $170,000 to local and regional artists, directly supporting their creative endeavors and enriching our community.

  2. Connecting Audiences with the Arts: Bringing art to public spaces, creating opportunities for the community to engage and appreciate the arts through exhibitions, live performances, and interactive events.

  3. Advocating for the Arts: Telluride Arts works to ensure the arts remain a priority in local decision-making, maintaining an environment where art thrives alongside other aspects of community development.

Envisioning a future built upon the legacy of inclusion, deepening our ties to the community and the broader art world. This vision includes the expansion of impactful programming and opportunities for artists through collaborative partnerships and creative community engagement, ensuring that the arts are accessible to all, now and for generations to come.
