Our democracy is under a nationwide assault - and here in Colorado, we are fighting back!

For 50 years, Colorado Common Cause has been leading the fight to create some strongest voting and election laws in the country. Our work has led to automatic voter registration, universal mail in ballots, and consistently one of the highest voter turnouts in the country.

Our 2024 Impact:

• 312 volunteer poll monitors stationed at 237 voting locations to welcome voters, spot issues, and alert us when there was intimidation. You may have seen their friendly faces when you went to go vote!
• 600+ calls from Colorado voters to the Election Protection Hotline were fielded by Just Vote Colorado volunteer attorneys, recruited by the Colorado Lawyers Committee.
• 25 partner organizations helped reach over 100,000 voters with nonpartisan election resources.
• 12 student poll monitors at 5 different campuses in partnership with New Era Colorado.
• 278 yard signs placed around the state, displaying the Election Protection Hotline number and information on voting with a conviction on your record.
