Help us bring in 50,000 pounds of food to fill the shelves in our marketplace!

We are encouraging everyone across Broomfield--schools, businesses, sports teams, civic groups, etc.-- to participate in this campaign that will help ensure nobody goes hungry as we head into fall.

Over half of the 14,000 + unduplicated people we serve are children.

Food insecurity during a child's critical developmental years can lead to health complications, struggles in school, and social and behavioral issues, which is why it is so essential to ensure that all families have access to the food they need to thrive!

"Fill A Lunch Box" has the goal of bringing in 50,000 pounds of food to fill the shelves in our marketplace!

WAYS TO GIVE:

WHAT IS FISH?

FISH is a non-profit organization and a family resource center in Broomfield. Our mission is to provide food, emergency financial assistance, and one-on-one mentoring support to Broomfield residents in need.

WHY DO WE NEED YOUR HELP?

The high cost of living and the impact of inflation have made it even harder for low-income residents to make ends meet, and it is getting more and more challenging to meet the need with our limited resources as an organization.

Between January 1st and June 30th, 2024, FISH served 7,367 unduplicated residents, had 6,514 visits to our self-shop marketplace, gave out 731,397 pounds of food, and helped 359 families with emergency rent, transportation and utilities assistance. This is the busiest FISH has ever been and the MOST NEED we have ever seen in the 60+ year history of the organization! We cannot continue to keep up with the need without the generous support of our community.
