Celebrate Flamenco Denver!

When my dance instructor, Maria Vazquez, moved from Seville years ago and founded Flamenco Denver she had big dreams to share her love of flamenco as a living art form to the broader community. From beginning with one student she has grown the organization into a non-profit that has shared art of flamenco with over 10,000 people through classes, school and community programs, and performances. 

The community that has been created by Flamenco Denver is one of inclusivity, support, and growth. I have personally experienced the impact that flamenco can have on your life as it pushes you to challenge yourself to learn an art form that requires both strength and vulnerability. Which is why I feel that the benefits should be shared with as many people as possible!

This year Flamenco Denver is celebrating it's 10th year as a non-profit and we want it to be the year with our biggest impact yet! We have special guest artist, workshops, and performances in the works and plan to provide even more free demonstrations and workshops to local K-12 schools and local city parks. However as a non-profit we can not do it without the generous support of our community.
