Guy Gibbs '47 Memorial Scholarship

That's what Guy Gibbs said in a speech to Regis Jesuit students, reminding us to ask ourselves “Is the world a better place today because I was here?”

In December 2022, Regis Jesuit lost a legend. Guy Gibbs '47 had an incalculable impact over his 41 years here as a teacher, coach, mentor and friend. In honor of Mr. Gibbs and to celebrate the tremendous impact he had on Regis Jesuit, we are inviting our community to come together to ensure his legacy lives on by funding the Guy Gibbs ’47 Memorial Scholarship. Just as Mr. Gibbs transformed the lives of untold number of alumni who received his formative mentorship and guidance, this endowed scholarship will live in perpetuity, helping provide financial aid to talented students.
