Telluride Arts' Art in Public Places program is designed to make art accessible to all, whether you’re a long-time resident or a visitor experiencing Telluride for the first time. Public art is about more than beautiful installations—it’s about creating spaces that reflect our community, celebrate our culture, and invite everyone to be part of the artistic process.

Community engagement is at the heart of the Art in Public Places program. When the community is involved in the creation and installation of art, the resulting works resonate deeply with those who experience them. Your support helps ensure that our public art projects are inclusive, participatory, and representative of the community's ethos.

Making Art Accessible to All

One of the primary goals of Telluride Arts' Art in Public Places program is to ensure that art is available and accessible to all, regardless of background or financial means. Public art is for everyone - from visitors on holiday and locals en route to work, to children discovering the beauty of art for the first time.

Public art is more than an aesthetic addition — it’s a tool for connection. When we bring art to public spaces, we make it accessible to everyone, sparking conversations, creating shared experiences, and fostering a sense of belonging.

By supporting the Art in Public Places program, you're helping to create a more vibrant, inclusive, and creative Telluride!
