Helping Those Who Lift Others Up

This November, I'm circling the wagons of community compassion to raise $1,000 for Recovery Resources as part of their CO Gives Day 2023 event! This organization is doing amazing work here in Western CO - they have so many great programs that help people get through serious adversities like homelessness and addiction. I'm excited to be organizing my own fundraiser to support their mission, and I hope you'll join me by donating or sharing this page with others.

Most of you that know me, understand that I have struggled with addiction for years. Through grace and the unwaivering compassion of my family and friends, I was guided to resources that allowed me to find my own path out of the mire. The process of recovery is continual growth and relying on community forces to direct your course of renewal.  I am now fortunate enough to work in the addiction recovery field and serve as a guide to others trying to find their own true self. I am grateful for the opportunity to help others in our local communities searching for a place to begin change. The Roaring Valley is considered "paradise on earth" by affluent global travelers, and under the sparkling veneer lies a community that deals with social problems just like any place else. Recognizing these issues in our own communities extends out further than you realize, as it can change the lives of family groups and social networks unseen.

About Recovery Resources:

Recovery Resources is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization serving communities from Summit County to the Roaring Fork Valley of Western Colorado. They provide direct-care services and long-term case management support for vulnerable individuals who are navigating the daily challenges of homelessness, addiction and unhealthy drug or alcohol use. Their programs and services take a holistic approach to help people get healthy, stay safe, succeed in recovery and build the personal resilience needed to thrive beyond adversity.  Their key projects are:

• Homelessness Support 
• Withdrawal Management (detox) and Recovery Support
• Intensive Wrap-Around Services
• Justice System Coordination Services
