Jefferson County Food Policy Council

The Jefferson County Food Policy Council is a community-led, collaborative organization working to build community power to influence change in Jefferson County, Colorado. This year, our members have worked collaboratively to support a sustainable community food system. Our School Food Team worked alongside Jeffco Public Schools to serve cultural family recipes made from scratch with local ingredients in 3 schools. Our Food Chain Team built a diverse group of people from across the system who are working together to get local foods to people and our Community Leadership Team is supporting food pantry volunteers and staff to create more community-centered policies. Donations will support this work to continue to grow next year.
